Terms of Service
Backroom is retail operations software provided by Forward Furniture, Kelowna, British Columbia. By using it you agree to these terms.
Accounts
Accounts are issued to stores and their staff. You are responsible for what happens under your login; don't share credentials, and tell us promptly if you think an account is compromised.
Acceptable use
Use the service to run your store. Don't use it to send spam, to message people who have opted out, to break the law, or to probe or disrupt the service. Stores are responsible for having the right to contact the customers whose details they enter.
Your data
Customer and business records a store enters remain the store's. We process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and will export a store's data on request when it leaves.
Service
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We work to keep it available and correct, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, and integrations (point of sale, SMS, e-commerce) depend on third parties we don't control. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be flagged in the dashboard. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
